I got it into my head tonight to try and read the first six Harry Potter books again before the seventh one comes out on the 21^st. That’s a total of 3,433 pages, at least in the editions of the books I own. I think I can do it in fifteen days, despite life, boyfriend, family, etc. Josh is reading the third book now, and has preordered the last one for me.

I have a Newsies fic boiling up in my brain for the first time in maybe three years. Previous Newsie fics were not happy items. Gary Stu-heaven. There was even a song-fic. *shudder*

I've fallen in love with Newsies all over again since my boyfriend lent me the DVD. I watched all the extras, and am listening to the commentary as I write.

I need to write, and I really want to, and now I have time! And I'd really like to do a post-strike Jack/Sarah fic. Don't shoot me!! I think there's a lot that can be done with Sarah. Really! I got down two pages of dialogue and notes last night. Not sure how much of that is usable.

Soooo... Is there someone out there who doesn't hate Sarah and would like to beta-read? I'm fine with grammar and spelling, but some help with fleshing out description and zapping OOC newsies would be welcome.
